He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Friend (Shultz); his children, Richard Friend (Iris Dean), Jeffrey Friend (Dena) of Morgantown, WV, Bernard Friend (Leticia) of Wendell, NC, Allen Friend (Susan) of Millville, PA, Curtis Friend (Devry) and Susie Robinson (Jerry) of Waco, TX; and his siblings, Tom Friend of Lewisburg, PA and Judy Wilson of Terra Alta, WV. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
