It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jo McCrobie of Friendsville, Maryland, born in Oakland, Maryland, who passed away on April 10, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Rice and Marion Rice (Shaffer); her husband Herbert Franklin McCrobie; and her son Tyrone "Ty" McCrobie. She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth "Libby" Anderson (Scott); her siblings, Jay Rice and Beverly Rice Shahan (Charlie); her grandchildren, Phillip Uphold (Stacey), Ryan Moreland (Bethany), Corey Moreland, Arianna Andres (Rocco) and Matia Varner (Dustin); and her great grandchildren, Taylor, Chase, Alex, Owen, Paislee, Camreigh, Reed and Blake.
