With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wendy Sue Crutchley (Frederick, Maryland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 1, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Wendy Sue departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Wendy Sue may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Wendy Sue leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her spouse C. Thomas Crutchley; her mother Janet Geiser; and her brother Michael Geiser. She is survived by: her father Thomas Geiser; her sister Julie Darr; her nephew Jacob Darr (Kristen); her niece Elizabeth Philleo (Kyle); her great-niece Evelyn Philleo; and her stepson Travis Crutchley.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home-Frederick (1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
