It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas G. Cassidy Sr. of Frederick, Maryland, born in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 2, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Thomas George Cassidy; his wife Verna Heino Cassidy (D. C.); and his brothers, Robert (Bob), Paul (Pete) and John Cassidy (Jack).
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Cassidy, Jr. (Wendy) of Frederick, Michael Cassidy (Mike) of Denver, Patricia Bauer (Pete Marcoff) of Point, Mary Cassidy (Chris McLaughlin) of Stonington and John Cassidy (Suzy) of Atlanta, Georgia.; his grandchildren, Kelly Sweet (Mike), Alex Cassidy (Jessica), Josh Bauer (Courtney Roberts), Casey Bauer, Haley Bauer, Ben Bauer, John Paul Bibeau, Patrick Bibeau, Thomas Bibeau, Marc Bibeau, David Bibeau, Liam Cassidy, Laney Cassidy and Maggie Cassidy; and his great grandchildren, Addy Sweet, Karoline Sweet, Emmy Sweet, Gunner Cassidy, Paige Cassidy and Briggs Bauer. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
He recently returned to Frederick after having fought through Covid and lived at Somerford House.
