With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Terry Ann Gales (Frederick, Maryland), born in Eden, North Carolina, who passed away on January 7, 2025 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Melvin Brown and Virginia "Doll" Hampton Brown; and her sister Katie Marie Felder. She is survived by: her daughter Erinn Nicole of Glen Burnie, MD; her husband Charles Gales of Frederick, MD; her brother Melvin Brown of Hollywood, FL; her aunts, Rachel Mickey of Washington, DC, Nannie Galloway of Washington, DC, Estelle Harris (William) of Charlotte, NC, Patricia Jacine Wynn of Clinton, MD and Verna Lisenby of Eden, NC; her siblings-in-law, Addie Holloway (Sammie) of Arlington, TN, George Gales of Raleigh, TN and Paul Gales of Memphis, TN; her nieces, Kelli Pryor (Lance) of Kansas City, MO and Sydney Felder of Harlem, NY; her nephew Julian Felder of Chapel Hill, NC; her great-niece Virginia "Gigi" Pryor; and her great-nephew Delancey Oliver "Ollie" Pryor IV. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, close family members and faithful friends.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Missionary Baptist Church (6430 Jefferson Pike, Frederick, MD 21703).
