He was predeceased by: his parent George Edward; and his sister Nancy Newman. He is survived by: his parent Pearl Savannah Newman (Fisher); his daughters, Tara D. Diggs and Keyanna K. Newman; his grandsons, Trayvon Weedon and Ryan R. Newman; his great grandchildren, Kamari Weedon and Nehemiah Weedon; and his siblings, Linda B. Newman and George Newman Jr.. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins as well as plenty of friends.
