He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin W. Fossett, Sr. and Lois M. Fossett-Williams; his wife Helen Cooper-Fossett; his daughter Debra Fossett-Onasanya; his brother Irvin W. Fossett, Jr.; and his sister-in-law Edithann Sly-Fossett.
He is survived by: his children, Talmadge "Fetus" Douglas Fossett, Jr., Keith Howard (Sabrina), Sheila "Nayse" Fossett, Shelly Palmer (Robert) and Tosha Howard; his brother Eugene "Gene" Carlwell Fossett, Sr. (Shirley); and his grandchildren, Jamarr Brightful (Kristian), Raequel Wallace (Dean), Kiana Szabo (Attila), Ashleigh Fossett, Alexandra Fossett, Tyler Shifflet, Brandon Fossett, Brandy Fossett, Jimmar King, Ashya Smith-Randolph (Taiquan), Daimon Bowens (Cameron), Malachi Fossett, Keith Howard Jr., Jordan Howard, Robert Palmer, Jr., TyRick Palmer, Laray Palmer and Darnell Palmer. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Jackson Chapel United Methodist Church (5609 Ballenger Creek Pike, Frederick, MD 21703).
