We are sad to announce that on January 6, 2024, at the age of 88, Sylvia A. Matthews of Frederick, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Matthews and Margaret Josephine Keohane Matthews; and her nephew Bryan Nelson. She is survived by: her siblings, Helen Torres of Frederick, MD, Shangra Callaghan of Chico, CA and Michael Nelson (Marilyn) of Port Angeles, WA.; and her nieces and nephews, Dominique Darr (John), Kyle Jarrett, Rachel Jarrett, Alex (Tammey), Michael Torres, Tim Nelson (Amber), Shelby Heinlein, Michael Callaghan (Christie), Anthony (Darcy), Vincent, Ryan Torres, Stephanie Torres and JP Torres.
Donations to the Animal Welfare League in Frederick would be very much appreciated.
