He was predeceased by: his parents, Senator Edward and Lois Thomas (Viola). He is survived by: his sisters, Anne Thomas Yager of Dallas, TX, Sue Frances Thomas of Frederick and Patricia Thomas Riley of Charleston, SC; and his nieces and nephews, Edward Philip Thomas Yager, Katherine Anne Yager, Charles Andrew Mogul and Grace Rose Mogul. He is also survived by numerous cousins and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Stevie's name to Hospice of Frederick County, 1 Frederick Health Way, Frederick, MD 21701.
