She was predeceased by: her niece Molly Hayes; her grandson Christian Doody; and her stepson Jamie Doody. She is survived by: her spouse James Lee Doody, Jr.; her parents, Vincent Hanlin and Barbara Hanlin; her siblings, Kim Hanlin, George Hanlin (Cathy) and Craig Hanlin (Sandy); her siblings-in-law, Ruth Grimes (Floyd), Marlin Doody (Ana) and Joseph Doody (Donna); her mother-in-law Mary Ellen Doody; and her stepdaughter Grace Brice. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, grandchildren, cousins, many lifelong friends, and other relatives.
