She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley Theodore Sundergill; her parents, Fernand C. Chassagne and Bertha Frances Chassagne; and her son Baby Wayne. She is survived by: her children, Ronald (Helen Sundergill), Karen (Andrew Carignan), JoyceAnn (Denman Schmid) and Gary (Tina Sundergill); her grandchildren, Natalie Demoss, Matthew Carignan, Benjamin Carignan, Sienna, David, Ashley Hetrick, Taylor, Mitchell, Desiree, Richard and Blaine; her great grandchildren, Aidan, Brantley, Bryson, Jeremy, Brianna, Porsha, Alyssa and Edmund "Teddy"; her cousins, James (Linda Sundergill) and John (Barbara Sundergill); and also, Deborah Shaff, Christopher, Marsha Gamble, Judith, John Thurman, Charlene Holland Peterson, David Holland, Donna, Timothy Murphy, Bruce Holland, Theresa, Brian Reed, Louis, Linda Holland, Verna, Bob White, Tracey, Patrick Brown and Sandy Gittings. She is also survived by nephews/nieces.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home (106 E Church St, Frederick, MD 21701). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (118 E 2nd St, Frederick, MD 21701).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a children's charity of one's choice, for example, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Save the Children.
