We are sad to announce that on July 21, 2022, at the age of 77, Shirley Edwards of Frederick, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Edwards to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley Johnson and Gertrude Eleanor Johnson; her sister Janet Bishop; her sister-in-law Mary Pruitt; and her son-in-law Kenneth Butler.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Butler of Frederick, MD and Donald Eugene Edwards, Jr. (Jennifer) of Ocala, FL; her siblings, Ruth Wunsch, Betty Saunders and Benjamin Pruitt of Fredericksburg, VA; and her grandchildren, Brooke Butler Perry (Ryan), Faith Butler, Blaine Butler-Goff (Michael), Destiny Edwards and Leigha Greene (Kevin). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made in her name to The Alzheimer's Association (act.alz.org).
