She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John William Drenning (Bill) of Woodsboro, MD.; her sister Barbara Yinger (Bob); her children, James Drenning (Gale) of Chestertown, MD and Jenifer Drenning Dean (Don) of Frederick, MD; her grandchildren, Bryan Drenning (Denise), Craig Drenning (Jaime), Rebecca Dean Smith (Walter), Erin Drenning Johnson (Chris) and Emily Dean (Nate Clendenen); her great grandchildren, Jackson Drenning, Nolan Drenning, Harper Drenning, Ruby Smith, Wesley Drenning, Zoey Johnson, Declan Smith and Theodore Johnson; her parents, Daniel Josiah Thomas and Alice Witter Thomas; her niece Laura Yinger Lindley; and her siblings-in-law, Patricia and Walter Dudrow. She was also cherished by friends and family.
As much as she loved flowers, she was as passionate about furthering research to find a cure for Alzheimer's, the disease from which her mother died, so in lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations in her memory to be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
