We are sad to announce that on December 2, 2018, at the age of 90, Ruth Mauro (Frederick, Maryland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Samuel Mauro; her parent Clarence Jewell; her daughter Melinda Mauro; and her sisters, Katherine Castle and Rosalie Ebberts.
She is survived by: her parent Bessie Jewell (Tobery); her siblings, Dottie Bowers, Clarence Jewell, Margaret Fox, Charles Jewell and Bessie Lorraine Shores; her children, Michael Mauro Sr. and Michele Small; and her grandchildren, Christine Miller of Samuel Mauro, Michael Mauro Jr., Natalie Fulmer, Ashley Pierce, Jeffrey Small, Nick Winpigler and Bradley Winpigler. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 10616 Beaver Dam Rd., suite S-1, Hunt Valley, MD 21030 or a charity of one's choice.
