He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Rollins and Estella Rollins; his close friend Joyce Horner; his wife Marietta Rollins; and his siblings, Clara Mitchell, Bessie Ingram, Consuwilla Gilmore, Austin Rollins, Maryanna Biggus, Catherine Worthington, Bernard Rollins, James Rollins, Richard Rollins and Charles Harper.

He is survived by: his children, Robert E. Rollins, Jr. (Angie), Nathan C. Rollins (Wanda) and Shanika Dotson; his stepchildren, Paris, Netra and Jason; and his siblings, Joseph Rollins, Stevie Harper, Joanne Rollins and Delores Hall (Kirk). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Rollins Life Celebration Center (330 Catoctin Ave, Frederick, MD 21701).
