He is survived by: his children, David L. Van Gilder (Ruthella) of Frederick, Daniel W. Van Gilder (Debra) of Glenville, PA and Janice R. Dolensky (Bob) of Smithfield, VA; his grandchildren, Karen Van Gilder, Julie Reagan, Amy Garrett, Brian Van Gilder, Jennifer Van Gilder, Emily McConaughey, Joshua Dolensky and Adam Dolensky; and his great grandchildren, Bailey, Kyle, Sarah, Emma, Lily, Ristynn, Brantley, Renee, Liam and Corbin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
