It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Ivan Putney (Frederick, Maryland), born in Tucson, Arizona, who passed away on August 26, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his children, Jennie Marlin (Jay) of Bethesda and Jamie Putney of Frederick; and his grandchildren, Sydney Kleinberg of New Orleans, Alexander Kleinberg and Matt Lovell of San Francisco.

Richard has also been passing out Tootsie Rolls and collecting donations for the ARC of Frederick County for a long time.
