Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Phyllis Palmer (Frederick, Maryland), born in Olney, Maryland, who passed away at the age of 77, on March 27, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Evans Stanton and Hazel Virginia Thompson; her grandchild Shamaar; and her siblings-in-law, Ralph, Richard Palmer and Alfreda.
She is survived by: her cousin George Butler; her husband John Ernest Palmer; her children, Raymond (Michelle), Donald, Craig Carroll (Toni) and Nakeisha Palmer; her adoptive sons, Eric Smith, Jim and Joe Farrell; her grandchildren, Shanice, Dominique, Deont'e, Savanna, Kelvinesha, Bria, Brandon, Craig Jr., John, Crystal, Owen and Nazir; her sister Alva Harvey; her siblings-in-law, Rita Pumphrey, Joan Palmer and Rev. Thomas Pumphrey; and her aunts, Irma and Claire. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, sister/cousins, family and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Rollins Life Celebration Center (330 Catoctin Ave, Frederick, MD 21701).
