Though Penny may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Johnston and Louise Johnston. She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Roen; her children, Paul Roen (Margo) and Elisabeth Roen; her grandson Clayton Roen; and her sisters, Marilou Phelan (Billy) and Cindy Lawson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Penny's name to Hurricane Helene relief.
