She was predeceased by: her parent Carl Pace; and her spouse John Eugene Ward. She is survived by: her parent Lillian Pace; her children, Deborah Jump (Mike) of Hagerstown, MD, Julie Trail (Jeff) of Rockville, MD and John Ward, Jr. (Katie) of New Market, MD; and her siblings, Diane Kitts of Frederick, MD, Paullette Wharton of Germantown, MD, Jack Pace of Frederick, MD and Jimmy Pace of Rockville, MD.. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
