With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nina Macalister (Frederick, Maryland), born in Saginaw, Michigan, who passed away on December 10, 2018 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nina Macalister to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Robert MacAlister; her parent James Koehler; and her brother Charles Koehler. She is survived by: her parent Avis Koehler; her children, Hilary Stenger (Dave), Jim MacAlister (Suzanne), Linda Perez and Heather Smith (Hugh III); her grandchildren, Brandon, Adam, Taylor, Hannah, Hugh IV, Sarah, Hailey, Abby and Violet; and her nieces, Nina, Janet and Nancy. She is also survived by several great-nieces and -nephews, and six great-great-nieces.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Hospice of Frederick County, P.O. Box 1799, Frederick, MD 21702.
