He is survived by: his children, Michael Lyles (Elizabeth), Darnell Ambush (Dawn), Cande Marbley (Troy), Joyce Ann Myers (Tyrone) and Colleen Ambush; his siblings, Eugene Ambush and Mary Frances Ambush; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Poole, Joel Poole Jr., Michelle Lyles, James Brown, Cierra Marbley, Nikea Myers Ray, Tyrena Myers, Jalisa Myers, Jarell Brogden, Jaden Ambush, Alasia Ambush, Janiyah Ambush, Rynada White, Kaiden Ambush and Kaliah Ambush. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
