He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Shirley May Cook; his parents, Dorsey G. Cook and Carrie Elizabeth Cramer Cook; his daughter Lori Dixon (Brent); his sister Betty Nicholson; his close friends, Jim Haines and Gail Albright; and his siblings, Meredith "Bud" Cook, Richard Cook, Millard Cook, Ruth Burns, Mabel Shankle, Marie Bates and Frances Cook. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other relatives.
