She was predeceased by: her father Ira Wilson; her husband Arthur Samuel Briggs; her children, Don M. Tenly and Joyce D. James; and her daughter-in-law Dede Tenly.

She is survived by: her children, Wayne Tenly, Doug Tenly (Peggy), Michael Tenly, Connie Liller (Lee) and Robert Briggs (Maria); and her siblings, Janet Samaroo, Thelma Bruchey, Donald Wilson and Paul Wilson. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
