She was predeceased by: her parents, Pieter Buskens and Maria Buskens; her siblings, Vic, Jean, Ger and Jos; her grandmother Tante Lena (Ome Henk); and her sister-in-law Donna Covell.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Covell; her daughters, Claudia "Mientje" Covell (Chris Hocker) and Michelle Yaung (J. T.); her grandchildren, Jasper Hocker, Claire Hocker, Kai Yaung and Mei Yaung; her siblings, Huub, Math, Wil and Mien; her friend Marge Hargett; and her siblings-in-law, Jean Rhinehart (Ed) and Jack Covell. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Homes (106 E Church St, Frederick, MD 21701). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
