She was predeceased by: her mother Daniel W. Lockhart; and her son Michael R. Maillis. She is survived by: her brothers, Noel S. Wheeler II and Harry R. Wheeler. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Brook Hill United Methodist Church or the diabetes research.
