He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Brandenburg and Ruth Brandenburg (Kuhn); his sisters, Ellen Baltzley (John), Doris Keller (Pete) and Janice Geisbert (Calvin); and his nieces, Terry Keller and Yvonne Powell.
He is survived by: his children, Renee Brandenburg-Huffer (Roland) and Charles Brandenburg (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Collin Brandenburg, Cody Huffer, Christina Huffer, Haven Brandenburg and Jacob Brandenburg; his great grandchild Alexander Brandenburg; his sister Connie Hoffman (Donald); and his nieces and nephews, Donna Burtner (Steve), Diana Crane (Thomas), Andrea Brown and Thomas Keller.
