It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen F. Tokar in Frederick, Maryland, who passed away on January 31, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Heck and Frederick Heck. She is survived by: her significant other Pete Tokar; her children, Jennifer Smalt of Middletown, MD., Brian Schlauch of Key West, FL., Lisa Bowman (Greg) of Frederick, MD. and Joshua Adams (Clara) of Knoxville, MD.; her sisters, Linda Seel (Ray Sword) of Martinsburg, WV. and Loretta Heck of Riverton, WY; and her son-in-law Gary Smalt. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
