He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sarah Catharine Thomas Drenning (Sari); his sisters, Patricia Dudrow of Woodsboro, MD and Ellen Hersch of Dover, PA.; his children, James Craig Drenning (Gale) of Chestertown, MD and Jenifer Drenning Dean (Donald); his brother C. Dahl Drenning (Peggy) of Woodsboro, MD; his grandchildren, Bryan Drenning (Denise), Craig Drenning (Jaime), Rebecca Dean Smith (Walter), Erin Drenning Johnson (Chris) and Emily Dean (Nate Clendenen); his great grandchildren, Jackson Drenning, Nolan Drenning, Harper Drenning, Ruby Smith, Wesley Drenning, Zoey Johnson, Declan Smith and Theodore Johnson; and his parents, John Wesley Drenning (Cap) and Mary Kathryn Eyler Drenning (Kitty).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Bill and Sari's memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
