John R. Thomas Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Mae and Alva "Dimpsy" Davis, Sr.; his son John Curtis Giles (Shawnta) of Damascus, MD; his son-in-law Paul Mikaele; his siblings, Tommy Davis and Joyce Davis; and his sister-in-law Kathy Thomas.

He is survived by: his children, Micola Martin of Orlando, FL, Renee Thomas-Spencer (Roderick) of Adamstown, MD, Hope Mikaele of Fayetteville, NC and Andrew Giles (Samaria) of Littlestown, PA; his daughter-in-law Suzanne Thomas of Frederick, MD; his siblings, Joe Thomas of Middletown, MD, Jack Thomas (Patty) of Frederick, MD, Carolyn Jackson of Frederick, MD, Alva Davis, Jr., Patricia Austin (John) of Dover, DE, Brenda Johnson (Kenneth) of Hyattsville, MD, Michael Diggs (Ruth Ann) of Frederick, MD, Beverly Diggs of Hyattsville, MD and Judith Barnes (Webster) of Lanham, MD; and his cousin Tranessa Watts (Dale). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the International Community Church (123 Byte Dr, Frederick, MD 21702).
