It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Holtzinger (Frederick, Maryland), born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 9, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent John E. Holtzinger; his wife Ann J. Holtzinger; his son John E. Holtzinger, III of Altoona, PA; his sisters, Marjorie Helsel (Dean) and Louise White (Fred); and his brother-in-law George Mezey.
He is survived by: his parent Esther Holtzinger; his children, Lou Ann Eader (Granison), Kathy Conner of Mechanicsburg, PA., Grethen Levine (Eric Levine) of Frederick, MD. and Jeff Holtzinger (Pam Holtzinger) of Frederick, MD.; his grandchildren, Ted Eader, John Edward Holtzinger, IV (Jamie), Brian Holtzinger (Samantha), Lauren Conner Neuberger (Daniel), Greg Conner, Ben Conner, Casey Conner, Erica Levine Boccia (Brian), Alex Levine, Caitlin Holtzinger Pelser (Jacques), Ali Holtzinger, Will Holtzinger (Stacie Lynch), Kylee Holtzinger and Marc Whiteley; his great grandchildren, Amelia Boccia, Finn Boccia, Malachi Neuberger, Levi Neuberger, Kay Neuberger, Brennan Holtzinger and Chase Holtzinger; his siblings, Parker Holtzinger, Susan Mezey of New York and Albert Holtzinger of Pennsylvania; and his sister-in-law Muriel Waterfield of Delaware. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
