She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond L. Young and Madeline L. Scott Young; her husband Calvin Eugene Snowden; her son Michael Bowie Jr.; her siblings, Mary Dawson, Betty Jennings, Barbara Biscoe, Raymond Young Jr., James Young and Stephen Young; her grandson James Grice Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Sarah Boyd, Catherine Davis, Patsy Snowden, Josephine Snowden, Shirley Snowden, Willard Davis, Arthur Snowden Jr., James Snowden and Russell Snowden.
She is survived by: her siblings, Joyce Bryant (Ray) and Donald Young (Barbara); her stepchildren, Bonita Grice, Erica Randolph (Jerome) and Joel Snowden (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Jerica (Craig), Nikevia (Julian), Cherelle and Joi; her friends, Lisa Rollins, Sherrie Rollins, Helen Smith and Marita Peters; and her caregiver Wendy Snowden. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
