With profound sadness, we say goodbye to JoAnn E. Packan (Frederick, Maryland), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. JoAnn left this world on April 8, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Decarlo and Ann Decarlo (Maslanich); and her grandmother Concetta. She is survived by: her sisters, Linda and Annette; her husband Charles Packan; her children, Pamela (Daniel Knight), Charlie (Angie Packan), Nicole (David Knight) and Gina (Justin Humphreys); and her brothers, Robert and Santo Decarlo. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and their spouses, and 10 great grandchildren; siblings; Nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other cherished family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home-Frederick (1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702). A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
