She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Applebey and Elizabeth Applebey (Purdy); her grandparents, Edward and Nettie Applebey (Smith); her siblings, Glen Applebey, Joyce Stevens and Patricia Worthingon (Russ); her aunt Mary Applebey Slough; and her son-in-law Alfred Fisher (Gerrits).
She is survived by: her children, Mary Beth Brightwell (Danny), Joanne Gerrits Spivey, Christine Fisher, Diane T. Gerrits, Roger G. Gerrits (Robyn) and Carolyn Gerrits; her grandchildren, Steven Spivey, Alexis Baumgartener (David), Victoria Fisher Felts (John), Patrick Gerrits and Charles Phillip Kolb; and her great grandchild Luke Felts. She is also survived by her friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
