She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Brashears, Sr. and Mary Margaret Shankle; her husband Vernon Leroy Oden; her siblings, Herbert Brashears, Viola Grabill (Robert), Jesse Brashears, Jr. (Nancy), Bernard Brashears Sr. (Betty), Stanley Brashears, Martin Brashears, Robert Brashears and Marshall Wetzel; and her nieces, Mary Catherine Grabill, Betty Grabill and Barbara Locke.
She is survived by: her son Ronald Oden; her grandchildren, Jeromey Oden (Frederick) and DeAnna Storoe (Bill); her great grandchildren, Brandon, Sophia Oden of Frederick, Elle, Ava, William, Jr. and Jack Storoe of Florida; her great-nieces, Melissa LeClair (Frank) and Michelle Bitler (Jeremy); and also, Christopher LeClair of Michigan, Chase LeClair (Caitlyn) of California, Chad LeClair of Frederick and Colin Bitler of Frederick.
