We are sad to announce that on December 28, 2023, at the age of 90, Jessie James Semones (Frederick, Maryland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Semones and Carrie Lee Semones (Gravely); his siblings, Walter Lee Semones and Dorothy Semones Bain; his niece Judy Semones Keene; and his former spouse Jean Nester Semones.
He is survived by: his wife Philis Slusher Semones; his daughters, Edwina "Wendy" Huzzy (Eric) and Jessica Seyfried (Brandon); his stepchildren, Kay Evans (Ed), Deborah Lile (Eric), Cindy Harrington (Robert, Jr.), James Slusher (Thom) and Joseph Slusher (Hui); and his sister-in-law Edwina Gulbronson. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren, 12 step-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jessie's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, or the American Diabetes Association.
