She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Wilcom, Sr. and Ethel S. Wilcom (Pry); her husband Willard C. "Buddy" VanSant; her brother William J. Wilcom, Jr.; her daughter Brenda J. Ogg; and her son-in-law Donald W. Ogg, Jr..
She is survived by: her sons, Douglas C. VanSant (Yvonne) and Bruce S. VanSant (Donna); and her grandchildren, Denny Ogg (Kristy), Diane Herndon (Matt), Kristen Blattner (Julius), Daniel VanSant (Caitlin) and Katelyn Hoffman (Julian). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. John the Evangelist Church, 112 East Second Street, Frederick, MD 21701, Lewistown Volunteer Fire Company, 11101 Hessong Bridge Road, Frederick, MD 21701 or a favorite charity.
