Jane Metzger Dertzbaugh Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jane Metzger Dertzbaugh of Frederick, Maryland, born in Myersville, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 15, 2024 at the age of 98. She was predeceased by: her husband Frank M. Dertzbaugh, Jr.; her parents, Howard Metzger and Clara Metzger; and her sisters, Nancy Chu, Eunice Fouche and Cynthia Zecher.
She is survived by: her sons, Frank Dertzbaugh (Denise), John Dertzbaugh (Jan), Mark Dertzbaugh (Heather) and James Dertzbaugh (Sandy); and her grandchildren, Karen Kalin (Brad), Tammy Immer (Corey), Tim Dertzbaugh (Meg), Casey Jansen (Steven), Kelsey Maslen (Dan), Jay Dertzbaugh, Adam Dertzbaugh, Alex Dertzbaugh and Bryan Morgan. She is also survived by great grand children who she adored; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many life long friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Homewood Crumland Farms Chapel (7407 Willow Rd, Frederick, MD 21701).
