He is survived by: his fiancée Karen Coates; his son Douglas Shields (Nicole); his stepdaughter Britney Anderson (Steve); his grandson Steven "Little Feller" Anderson; his sister Priscilla Waldman (Rodger); and his nieces, Jessica, Amber and Samantha. He is also survived by 5 great-nieces.
