He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ann Vaonakis; his parents, Peter Vaonakis and Mary Kortsos Vaonakis; and his brothers, Steve Vaonakis (Mary) and Gus Vaonakis.
He is survived by: his children, John Vaonakis (Linda), Angela Mullins and Gregory Vaonakis (Erin); his grandchildren, Johnny (Sophia), Gina, Nathaniel (Gabi), Haley, Garrett, Sophia and Phoenix; and his sisters, Anastacia Vaonakis and Elizabeth McKee (Vince).
