We are sad to announce that on May 1, 2023, at the age of 88, James Edwin Reid of Frederick, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Edwin Reid to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his granddaughters, Gabrielle Reid and Kathryn Reid. He is survived by: his wife Maria "Rose" Reid; and his children, Rose Downes (Peter), James Reid Jr. (Kim), Laura Waalkes (Richard), Joseph Reid (Carol) and John Reid (Rose). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Glade Valley Community Services, P.O. Box 655 Walkersville, MD 21793.
