He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Franklin Simpson and Mary Elizabeth Roelkey Simpson. He is survived by: his wife Carletta E. Simpson; and his nephews, Dennis Sherrill, Jr. (Sheila) and Todd Kaetzel (Danielle).
