As Irene departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Irene may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Irene leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Robbie and James Robbie. She is survived by: her husband Dean Stickell; her daughters, Carolyn and Jil; her son-in-law Brendan; her grandchildren, Grey and Jett; and her brother Douglas. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Frederick Church of the Brethren (201 Fairview Ave, Frederick, MD 21701). A reception will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at 581 Himes Ave, Frederick, MD 21703.
