She was predeceased by: her parents, Darby Brown and Bessie Luvenia Brown (Bowens); her husband Joseph H. Johnson; and her siblings, Norine Hurd, Robert Hurd, Ernest Hurd, Darby Brown, Jr., Adeline Brown, David Brown, Earl Brown, Merhl Brown, James Brown, Catherine Borum and Dorothy Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Marshall and Larry Proctor of Frederick, MD.; and her aunts, Helen Carr (Snookie) of Catonsville and MayBelle Jones of York, PA.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jackson Chapel United Methodist Church (5609 Ballenger Creek Pike, Frederick, MD 21703). A burial will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens (9501 Catoctin Mountain Hwy, Frederick, MD 21701).
