He is survived by: his wife Joy Marie Jenkins (Steinhaus); his children, Charles A. "Chuck" Jenkins of Frederick County, Gary L. Jenkins (Donna) of Frederick County, Diane M. Lease (Donnie) of Frederick County and Lisa Jenkins Gainey of Society Hill, SC; his grandchildren, Charles "CJ" Jenkins, Jr., Meghan Jenkins, Kara Jenkins, Nicole Randolph, Joseph Lease, Jessica Longenecker, Kamryn Gainey and Ashley Jenkins; his great grandchildren, Audrey, Alaina, Logan and Bailey; his sister Mary Hitt of Virginia; and his daughters-in-law, Shari Hendrickson Jenkins and Samantha Rohrer Jenkins.
