It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Franklin R. Joy of Frederick, Maryland, born in Libertytown, Maryland, who passed away on December 7, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Raymond and Helen Joy (Trundle); and his siblings, James R. Joy Jr., Mary Emma McMillian and A. Matilda Ingram.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen B. Joy (Redmond); and his children, Janice M. Waesche (Randy) of Thurmont, Cheryl A. Palmer (Stephen) of Thurmont, Susan E. Cooney (Mike) of Jupiter, FL and Patrick F. Joy of Keysville. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
