Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Flossie Layton (Frederick, Maryland), born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 73, on September 27, 2018. She was predeceased by: her spouse James Layton, Jr.; and her grandson Wyatt Smith. She is survived by: her parents, Harold Faulkner and Sarah Faulkner Tressler (Hale); her children, Anthony Martin Smith of Green Valley, MD, Ernest Dale Stitely (Debbie) of Harpers Ferry, WV and Lavana Lynn Meacham (Eric) of Frederick, MD; her grandchildren, Jodi Smith, Matthew Stitely, Courtney Putman, Shannon Stitely and Manda Meacham; and her sister LaRue Beckley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
