She was predeceased by: her parent John L.; her spouse Lewis Albert "Bud" Rice; and her siblings, Albert L. Smith, Samuel L. Smith, Winfield Smith, John H. Smith, Elizabeth Myers and Mary Whitmore.
She is survived by: her parent Jesse Smith; her son Steven Lee Rice; and her siblings, Paul Smith and Cora Knight. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
