He was predeceased by: his parent Rear Admiral Anton Bennett; and his children, Kathleen Jiannalone, Karl Anderson and Paul Sheldon. He is survived by: his wife Ann Stuart Anderson; his parent Ella Miriam Anderson (Thompson); his children, Hugh Anderson (Dale) and Nina Haramis (Mike); his stepdaughter Diane Stuart; his grandchildren, Frances Jiannalone, Joel Jiannalone, Christina Wood (Matt), Travis Haramis, Max Wappel and Sam Wappel; his brother-in-law Robert Stuart (Wynsome Hay); his nephew Brian Hay Stuart; and his niece Nancy Culbreath (Greg).
