He is survived by: his children, Danny Weedon (Denise), Lori Prather, Tammy Cain (Rohan) and Jerry Thompson (Kerstin); his sister Elise Miller; his sister-in-law Yvonne Thompson; his grandchildren, Stacy, Byron Jr., Bradley, Kizzy (Wayne), Turquoise, Charles (Tina), Faith, Shatique, Sharizma, Shakil, Romari, Mark, Darnell, Jaime, Koreena (Chris), Jay and Jason (KaShena); his close friends, Larry Bowins, Bernice Wilson, Gertrude Benson and Dorothy Johnson; and his caregivers, Annette Brooks and Divina Byrd.
